Dispatch

Every technological era produces the art that comes to define it. We think we’re in one of those moments. A(DAI) is building the open infrastructure for the emergent field to sense itself.

Sense

Tools that feed signal into the A(DAI) intelligence layer. Each artefact is a contribution mechanism — your input becomes part of the commons.

01
Drop Audio/Video
Upload an audio or video recording. The system transcribes, identifies speakers, extracts key signals via Claude, and posts a structured entry to the Signal Inbox.

02
Sense
Explore the A(DAI) knowledge graph. Search signals, concepts, practitioners, and threads. Ask questions in natural language — the system finds semantic connections across the field.

03
Drop a Link
Paste a URL, article, or observation. The system analyses it against the A(DAI) ontology and adds it to the shared intelligence layer — anyone can contribute signal.

The art of now

Every field has a moment where the practice outpaces the language. The emergent digital arts are in that moment. The work is already happening. It’s plural, restless, globally distributed. What’s missing is the infrastructure to make sense of it collectively.

A(DAI) starts with a conversation. Deep listening. What practitioners say before it turns into theory or doctrine. From there it senses, finding the patterns that cut across scenes, subcultures, and geographies. It queries. It speculates. It reacts. From that process, a shared language emerges. A collective memory. Something you can build on, fork, query, discover through.

It’s a place to find collaborators. To see how your practice connects to others you didn’t know existed. To contribute to a narrative that belongs to the field, not to an institution.

A(DAI) is an open protocol. Anyone can build on top of it.

Narrative formation led by artists first. Market formation follows.

Process

An open-source protocol for collective sense-making. Currently: Sense.
